According to НАБУ: The case regarding the embezzlement of funds from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine amounting to over 27 million UAH during the procurement of aviation tires has been sent to court. A former assistant to a member of the Ukrainian parliament, former officials of the Ministry of Defense, and a businessman will face trial. The overpayment for components amounted to 27.3 million hryvnias.

The scheme for embezzling funds was uncovered in June 2025. According to information, the Security Service of Ukraine played a role in uncovering this case, aiding in the investigation. Among those involved who will stand trial is a former assistant to a member of parliament, indicating possible high-level corruption, as well as former officials of the Ministry of Defense.
