The USA refuses to participate in the EU plan to use Russian assets for Ukraine: reasons
According to hvylya.net: The EU plan involves using the assets of the Central Bank of Russia to obtain loans worth about 140 billion euros, which are planned to be used to support the Ukrainian economy and infrastructure damaged by the war.
The United States will not participate in the European Union's initiative to use frozen Russian assets to support Ukraine. Washington is concerned about financial stability and therefore refrains from joining this project.
Brussels is preparing a mechanism for implementing the initiative, and EU leaders are expected to discuss this plan at a summit at the end of the week. While the USA does not join the project, the United Kingdom and Canada have already approved their participation.
