According to NBC News, this agreement could become one of the largest with an estimated value of $100 billion. Discussions in the Pentagon regarding deterring Russian aggression

The main discussions in the Pentagon are taking place with the participation of General Dan Cain, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The emphasis is on the necessity to counter Russian aggression, expand training programs for Ukrainian military personnel, and support cooperation in the defense industrial complex between the two countries.

According to a source from the publication, General Cain proposed four options for security guarantees for Ukraine following the meeting between Trump and Putin in Alaska, recommending the 'most progressive approach'.

It was also announced that the USA would oversee the monitoring of the buffer zone in Ukraine, which will be protected by the military of both countries.
