Internally displaced persons from temporarily occupied territories can now apply for housing vouchers
Today, December 1, internally displaced persons from temporarily occupied territories, who are combat participants or have disabilities as a result of the war, can apply for a housing voucher worth 2 million UAH. This program is a new component of eRecovery.
The initiative was jointly developed by the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine and the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, in partnership with the Ministry of Veterans and the Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine. The foundation of the program is the State Register of Damaged and Destroyed Property (RPD). Partners in the initiative include the Eurasia Foundation and the East Europe Foundation (Project “Digitalization for Growth, Integrity and Transparency” - UK DIGIT) and the World Bank Ukraine (project ‘HOPE: Housing Repair for Restoring Rights and Opportunities for People’).
