Trial of P. Diddy: Jury's Decision Revealed
According to glavcom.ua: After several weeks of hearing testimonies and strong closing arguments, 12 jurors began discussions on Monday. By Tuesday, they delivered verdicts on four of the five charges, and by Wednesday morning, they reached a final consensus on the last episode.
American music mogul and rapper Sean P. Diddy was acquitted of human trafficking and conspiracy charges, which were considered the most serious allegations against him. However, the jury found him guilty of transporting individuals for prostitution following a high-profile trial held in New York. This was reported by "Gromadske" citing ledevoir.
P. Diddy was found not guilty of sex trafficking and particularly on conspiracy charges that carry a life sentence, but guilty of transporting individuals for prostitution. Following this decision, the rapper's attorney, Mark Agnifilo, requested P. Diddy to be released conditionally, as the most serious charges against him were dropped.
The producer was accused of forcing women – including his girlfriend from 2007 to 2018, singer Cassie, and a recent ex-girlfriend, who testified under the pseudonym "Jane" – to participate in sex marathons with male prostitutes while he filmed them. He was also accused of creating a criminal network, of which he was the head, to organize these marathons, known as "freak-off".
