The Constitutional Court made key decisions: what will change for Ukrainians

According to Конституційний суд: Today, November 27, 2025, the Grand Chamber of the Constitutional Court considered a number of cases based on constitutional submissions and made important decisions.

Review of cases based on constitutional submissions

In closed sessions of the plenary meetings, the court reviewed cases related to constitutional submissions, particularly in disputes concerning several laws. These cases will be examined in more detail at future meetings.

Consideration of a constitutional complaint

A decision was also made to continue the review of the case concerning a constitutional complaint regarding certain provisions of the law 'On the Judiciary and the Status of Judges'. This case will also be continued at subsequent plenary sessions.

Resolutions and appointments

The court also made a decision to extend the terms for reviewing certain cases, as well as to determine the composition of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Constitutional Court. In addition, the chair and deputy chair of this board were appointed.

The second panel of judges of the Second Senate decided to refuse to initiate constitutional proceedings in cases related to constitutional complaints of a certain group of individuals.

All these decisions and resolutions testify to the seriousness and responsibility of the Constitutional Court during the consideration of important cases concerning the observance of constitutional norms in Ukraine.
