This cutting-edge project aims to deploy these robots on factory floors and in warehouses, with future plans extending to healthcare settings and home environments. The AI acts as the robot’s brain, handling semantic understanding, reasoning, planning, and decision-making.
The humanoid features a separate subsystem dedicated to managing balance, posture, movement, and coordination. To perceive its surroundings, it relies on 3D vision, LiDAR sensors, and force measurement technology. Its learning system operates in real time, allowing the robot to adapt to changing conditions.
Future Applications for Humanoids
Initially, these assistants are slated for deployment in manufacturing, particularly at plants producing semiconductors, electronics, and automobiles. Beyond that, TM Technology plans to introduce humanoids into healthcare, as well as for patient care and domestic chores.
Taiwan-based company Techman Robot showcased the TM Xplore I model at the Nvidia GTC 2026 exhibition in San Jose. Developed in collaboration with Nvidia, the TM Xplore I can autonomously transport goods and interact with people in industrial settings.
