Ukraine's Utility Tariffs for February 2026

According to ХВИЛЯ: Household utility costs in Ukraine will see no increase in February 2026. For the majority of residential consumers, the price of electricity is set at 4.32 UAH per kilowatt-hour, a rate guaranteed to remain in effect at least until April 30, 2026. Households with two-zone meters benefit from a reduced nighttime rate of 2.16 UAH per kWh from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Furthermore, homes using electric heating that consume up to 2000 kWh monthly are eligible for a preferential rate of 2.64 UAH per kWh.

The gas tariff for 98% of consumers supplied by Naftogaz remains at 7.96 UAH per cubic meter. Other suppliers offer gas at prices ranging from 7.96 to 9.99 UAH per cubic meter. Meanwhile, the National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Public Utilities (NCRECP) has not revised water rates. In Kyiv, the cost for one cubic meter of water, including wastewater disposal, is 30.38 UAH, while in Kamianets-Podilskyi, the price is approximately 32.80 UAH per cubic meter.

How Stable Tariffs Impact Household Budgets

Consequently, Ukrainians can rely on consistent utility bills in February 2026, a key factor for managing family expenses. This price freeze provides a measure of predictability for consumers navigating broader economic challenges.

Maintaining stable utility tariffs during a period of economic uncertainty can positively influence household financial planning. Keeping prices unchanged allows people to manage their outgoings more effectively and reduces financial pressure. At the same time, the absence of tariff adjustments may indicate the government's effort to uphold social stability amidst difficult economic conditions.
