The EU provided protection for 79 thousand Ukrainians in September: what caused the increase
In September of this year, over 79 thousand Ukrainians received temporary protection in European Union countries, which is a significant increase compared to the previous month. The rise in the number of refugees is related to the decision of the Ukrainian government regarding the departure of men aged 18-22.Unfortunately, Germany is offering restrictions on the entry of young Ukrainians after Kyiv lifted the ban on their departure. According to Eurostat, in September, over 4 million Ukrainian refugees with temporary protection status lived in European countries, which constitutes a significant share of all individuals with this status.
