Ukrainian Yaroslav Tkach won bronze at the European Cup in climbing
According to glavcom.ua: Yaroslav Tkach won the bronze medal at the final stage of the European Cup in climbing 2025, which took place in the French city of Laval. In these competitions, 40 of the strongest athletes from Europe participated, who earned points during six stages of the tournament throughout the year.
Ukraine was represented by Yaroslav Tkach in these competitions, who won a silver medal at the final stage of the European Cup. This result allowed him to take third place in the overall standings of the Cup. The athlete's training was provided by coach Mykola Poberezhets.

Ukraine also received a bronze medal at the World Summer Universiade in Germany, finishing 14th in the overall medal standings. The Ukrainian team won 4 golds, 3 silvers, and 5 bronzes, while Mykola Ryshchak became a bronze medalist in race walking.
