According to Axios, Trump was disappointed by Russia's reaction to Secretary of State Marco Rubio's negotiations with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. It became clear that Moscow is not ready for agreements on ending the war, so the meeting between Trump and Putin lost its relevance.
