According to ХВИЛЯ: In 2026, an increase in prices for red fish, including salmon and trout, is forecasted in Ukraine, by 15-20%. This increase is caused by rising logistics costs, feed prices, and currency fluctuations. The price of salmon in 2025 ranged from 350 to 400 UAH per kg, and in 2026 it is expected to rise to 380-450 UAH.
As for trout, its price may reach 450 UAH per kg. As of December 31, 2025, prices for salmon in supermarkets ranged from 54.90 UAH to 139 UAH per 100 g. It is important to note that prices for red fish also depend on the exchange rate, which can significantly affect the market situation.
