According to glavcom.ua: In Russia, drone attacks occurred in the Belgorod region and Taganrog. Five people were injured as a result of the strikes, reported the governor of Belgorod, Vyacheslav Gladkov. As a result of the attack, a building of a commercial enterprise 'Frez' in Belgorod caught fire.

It was also reported about explosions in Taganrog, but details about the aftermath of the attack are still unknown. Earlier, on the night of September 24, drones attacked the Kursk region, leading to a power shortage in the city of Lygov.

It is worth noting that earlier drones attacked the Astrakhan gas processing plant, which led to the cessation of automobile fuel production.

Damage to the plant

The plant, which produces gasoline and diesel fuel near the Caspian Sea, suffered damage as a result of the attack. The condensate production unit, with a capacity of 3 million tons per year, was affected by the fire. Restoration of production may take several weeks or months.

Drones had previously attacked this plant on the night of February 3, leading to the cessation of natural gas and gas condensate production. In 2022, the plant processed 10 billion cubic meters of natural gas and 3.418 million tons of gas condensate.

Drone attacks in Russia have become a dangerous phenomenon, leading to serious consequences for industrial facilities and people. The escalation of the situation requires immediate measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.
