According to glavcom.ua: Tomorrow, July 13, a day of mourning will be observed in Chernivtsi due to the shelling that occurred on the night of July 12. The mayor of Chernivtsi, Roman Klychuk, announced this, referring to information from 'Glavkom'.

The authorities have already held a meeting to address the aftermath of this tragedy and made appropriate decisions.

'July 13 has been declared a day of mourning in Chernivtsi for the deceased. All mass events are canceled,' said the city mayor.

As a result of the attack by Russian troops on Chernivtsi, two people were killed, another 14 were injured, and there were significant material losses for the civilian infrastructure.

The President's Account of the Consequences of the Attack

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky shared details of the night Russian attack that struck much of Ukraine, from Kharkiv and Sumy to Lviv and Bukovina. According to him, the enemy launched 26 cruise missiles and 597 drones, most of which were 'Shahed' weapons.

In Lviv, missile strikes were recorded on the streets of Metropolitan Andrey and Olena Stepanivna. Fortunately, there are currently no reports of injuries or fatalities from these shellings. Several people sought medical assistance, and medical staff provided them with the necessary help immediately.

During the shelling in Chernivtsi, two people died, and 14 were injured. The city held a meeting of the emergency response headquarters and declared a day of mourning. The President of Ukraine reported that Russian troops fired 26 missiles and about 600 drones, most of which were 'Shaheds'. The consequences of the attack were also revealed in Lviv, but there is currently no information about any victims.
