The Diplomatic Academy opened an exhibition of paintings by Vasily Korchynsky
The Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine named after Gennadiy Udovenko at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs held a solemn opening of the exhibition 'Picturesque Ukraine in the works of Vasily Korchynsky'. The organization of the event was supported by the academy director Igor Ostash.
The First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Serhiy Kyslytsya noted the talent of Vasily Korchynsky and his ability to combine calmness, depth, and the expression of his identity in his works. He emphasized that Ukrainian artists are facing difficult times, but they continue to carry light through creativity.
The First Deputy Minister Serhiy Kyslytsya: 'In the most challenging times, Ukrainian artists, just like the entire nation, continue to carry light, as creativity for us is a way to stand firm and prevail.'
Kyslytsya welcomed the development of the Diplomatic Academy as a platform for cultural diplomacy that complements the official tools of foreign policy. He emphasized the role of uniting the artistic and diplomatic community through the Center for Public Diplomacy led by Tetiana Sybyha.
At the auction to be held on November 29 during the Charity Christmas Diplomatic Fair, paintings by Vasily Korchynsky will be exhibited. Among the visitors to the exhibition are diplomats, artists, and cultural experts from Ukraine and other countries.
During the opening of the exhibition 'Picturesque Ukraine in the works of Vasily Korchynsky' at the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine, the talent of the Ukrainian artist and his contribution to cultural diplomacy were highlighted. At the auction during the Charity Christmas Diplomatic Fair, his works will be exhibited to aid organizations. The organizers hope that the event will promote Ukrainian art and draw attention to important aspects of the country's cultural scene.
