According to Міністерство інфраструктури: In Dnipro, the implementation of a barrier-free route is actively underway within the framework of the project 'Movement Without Barriers' by the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine. Natalia Kozlovska, Deputy Minister, checked the progress of work on the route during her visit to Dnipropetrovsk region and discussed further steps.

The Barrier-Free Council of Dnipro has made decisions regarding the facilities along the route. According to Natalia Kozlovska, the planned implementation is also taking place in urban spaces, which is very important.

Route and infrastructure updates

The main focus was on equipping boarding platforms, pedestrian pathways, and repairing sidewalks. New inclusive three-section trams have been put into operation, and the modernization of the tram lines on route No. 1 has also taken place.

The city also plans to reconstruct the intersection near the Historical Museum next year and will begin work on important facilities along the route starting in 2026.

The key principle of the 'Movement Without Barriers' project: creating a holistic and accessible route that encompasses transportation, sidewalks, social services, and cultural institutions.

The barrier-free route in Dnipro is actively developing, opening accessibility to different parts of the city and improving the quality of public services for all citizens.
