Gas explosion in Khmelnytskyi: destruction of a high-rise building, number of victims being verified

According to glavcom.ua: Today, October 28, around 3:00 PM, a gas explosion was recorded in Khmelnytskyi on Ternopilska Street. According to preliminary data, the cause was household gas. There is currently no information about the dead or injured.

Emergency services and police are currently working at the scene. The explosion led to serious destruction of the building, with three floors suffering significant damage.

Previous Incidents

According to reports, on October 22, there was a gas explosion in the same city due to a gas pipeline rupture, resulting in injuries to a woman who had to be hospitalized. A similar case was also observed in New York, but fortunately, there were no injuries or fatalities there.
