According to Главком: A large-scale search and rescue mission continues in Kyiv after a massive assault that began on the night of July 2. As of today, the number of fatalities has climbed to 30, with 92 residents of the capital injured. Fifty-six wounded individuals are currently hospitalized in Kyiv medical facilities, including six healthcare workers and four children. Doctors have managed to stabilize the condition of a one-year-old boy, a five-year-old girl, and their parents and grandmother.
Among the victims is a 10-year-old boy who has been orphaned, as his parents are listed as missing. His grandfather remains with him at the hospital. Additionally, a 15-year-old girl is unaccounted for and included on the missing persons list. Forensic experts are currently working to identify body fragments.
Details of the Attack
Twenty-eight locations across the capital were affected, with confirmed reports of 21 fatalities at the time of publication. The attack involved drones, ballistic missiles, and cruise missiles, including hypersonic Zircon missiles. Russian forces have also deployed new jet-powered unmanned aerial vehicles capable of reaching speeds of up to 500 km/h.
“Currently, 56 wounded individuals are in Kyiv hospitals, including six medical workers,” stated Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
He also noted that “the entire family is in the hospital, and doctors are observing positive progress.” The search and rescue operation has entered its second consecutive day, with emergency responders and medical teams continuing their efforts across all affected sites.
