According to Главком: This weekend, Kyiv residents and visitors can enjoy a rich lineup of cultural activities, including museum exhibitions, theatrical performances, a gala concert, live music shows, and stand-up comedy. These events highlight Ukrainian art and music, offering something for diverse tastes.

  • Exhibition 'Peace to Heaven and Earth: A Porcelain Symphony by the Tregubov Family' runs until July 12 at the National Museum of Decorative Arts of Ukraine. It showcases 377 works by Mykola, Valentyna, Natalia, and Volodymyr Tregubov. Mykola Tregubov (1922–2007), a Honored Artist of Ukraine and recipient of the Taras Shevchenko National Prize, worked as a sculptor at the Korosten Porcelain Factory. One of his dinner sets, 'Peace to Heaven and Earth' (1985), is also on display.
  • International Exhibition 'Table of Peace' by Anda Munkevica from Latvia continues through August 31 at the same museum. Anda Munkevica has worked with art glass for over 30 years, and since 2022, she has dedicated her projects to Ukrainians. The installation 'Table of Peace' was created at the AM studio in Riga.
  • Project 'The Krychevsky Dynasty' runs until September 27 at the Museum of the History of Kyiv. It commemorates the 100th anniversary of Kateryna Krychevska-Rosandych and the 125th anniversary of Vasyl Krychevsky (the younger). The exhibition features over 80 paintings and graphic works by the Krychevsky family, along with archival video footage, including a clip from Alexander Dovzhenko's 1930 film 'Earth' and an interview with Kateryna Krychevska-Rosandych recorded in the U.S. in the mid-2010s.

Theater and Music Events

Among the theatrical highlights, a gala concert closing the 91st theater season takes place on July 12 at 5:00 PM at the Kyiv National Academic Theatre of Operetta. The same day at 6:00 PM, the play '120 Beats Per Minute' is scheduled at the Khora space, along with the premiere of 'The Konotop Witch' based on Hryhorii Kvitka-Osnovianenko's story at the Officers' House of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Concerts also feature prominently in the cultural program. On July 11 at 7:30 PM, the 'World Hits in Symphonic Sound' concert featuring GosOrchestra (20 musicians) will take place at the River Mall terrace. A solo concert by Maryna Krut is set for July 11 at 5:30 PM on Akademika Hlushkova Street. On July 12 at 4:00 PM, the 'Feels Garden Beer #8' event at VDNG will include performances by Tin Sontsia, Yurcash, Kozak System, and DJ Naja.

Additionally, Kyiv residents can enjoy stand-up comedy. On July 11 at 7:30 PM, 'Stand-up for Three' by Brodychiy Stand-up will be held at Bochka Pub, and on July 12 at 7:00 PM, a stand-up show featuring Dimka Nosov, Vova Linnik, and Anton Zhytlov will take place at the Komediant stand-up club.
