New bus and trolleybus routes have appeared in Kyiv for October 28 and 29

In Kyiv, on October 28 and 29, several city routes will change direction due to repair work on Marshal Rokossovskyi Avenue. Temporary changes will affect trolleybuses No. 6, No. 33, as well as buses No. 32 and No. 99. This was reported by Kyivpastrans.

The KCSA noted that the restrictions will be in effect from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM. During this period, public transport will operate according to updated routes to ensure connectivity between neighborhoods and the central parts of the city.

New public transport routes in Kyiv

The temporary changes are as follows:

• Trolleybuses No. 6 and No. 33 will run from Independence Square and 'Pivdennyi' railway station to Soshneka Street;

• Bus No. 32 will proceed via Lytovskyi Ave. — Yuriy Kondratyuk St. — Petro Kalnytskyi St. — Polyarny St. — Taras Shevchenko Square — then follow the regular route to 'Nyvky' metro station. In the opposite direction — no changes;

• Bus No. 99 will travel through Lytovskyi Ave. — Kondratyuk St. — Kalnytskyi St. — Polyarny St. — Heroes of Dnipro St. — then follow the usual route to 'Minska' metro station. The return trip will also have no changes.

Passengers are asked to consider the changes

Kyivpastrans has appealed to the residents of the capital to plan their routes considering the temporary adjustments. After the repair work on Rokossovskyi Avenue is completed, traffic will resume in the usual mode.

The company added that such changes are necessary to maintain the condition of the road infrastructure and ensure traffic safety.

As a reminder, a test launch of the first double-decker bus MAN A39, which Kyiv received as a gift from the sister city of Berlin, has commenced.
