Street battles are ongoing in Kupiansk: occupiers do not control any area
There has been no record of control by Russian reconnaissance and sabotage groups in the areas of Kupiansk. It is known that street battles are taking place with enemy groups, but they have not been able to fully capture any area of the city. The commander of the drone regiment 'Achilles' emphasized that the intensity of the enemy's actions is high, however, no areas have been lost without the presence of Ukrainian defense forces.
'At the moment, there are a significant number of reconnaissance and sabotage groups of the enemy present in Kupiansk itself. It is premature to say that the enemy has completely seized any area where no representatives of the Defense Forces remain,' said Fedorenko.
'Street battles are ongoing with the enemy's reconnaissance and sabotage groups - both those aimed at taking control of certain areas and those conducting reconnaissance,' he added.
It is claimed that enemy groups are gathering data to coordinate fire strikes on the logistics of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. It has also been noted that they are trying to maintain control over certain areas of the city, including the northern outskirts.
Reports that Russian reconnaissance and sabotage groups do not control any area in Kupiansk indicate the activity of Ukrainian defense forces and the absence of complete capture of the city by enemy troops. Clarifications from the commander of the drone regiment 'Achilles' regarding the intensity of the battles and the enemy's efforts to maintain control indicate serious efforts from both sides in this conflict.
