Low-floor buses added in Lviv: how many and on which routes
In the streets of Lviv three more low-floor buses have hit the road, making travel around the city more convenient for passengers with disabilities, parents with strollers, and the elderly. The new vehicles have joined the fleet on routes No. 14, No. 23, and No. 34. The Lviv City Council reported this.
More convenient and accessible for everyone
Oleg Partika, head of the transport department of the Lviv City Council, emphasized that the goal of the update is to make public transport as comfortable as possible:
«This means more comfort and fewer barriers for anyone using public transport. Step by step, we are making it convenient and accessible for all residents».
Since the beginning of the year, 68 additional low-floor buses have been deployed on routes in Lviv, belonging to both municipal and private carriers. Currently, there are over 350 modern vehicles in the city adapted for passengers with special needs.
How much does a ride cost in Lviv
Unified tariffs for public transport rides have been in effect since May 2025. The price depends on the payment method:

students with a LeoKart card — 8.5 UAH;

payment via LeoKart or the LeoCard app — 17 UAH;

payment by bank card — 20 UAH;

cash — 25 UAH.
This update of the transport system in Lviv is part of the city's program to enhance the accessibility and quality of transportation services. The city continues to receive new buses that meet European safety and comfort standards.
