Arrest of a man who set fire to 'Ukrposhta'

According to glavcom.ua: In Lviv, police arrested a 22-year-old man suspected of setting fire to the doors of a post office. According to the investigation, he was hired for this 'mission' and promised a 'reward' for helping to expose allegedly Russian agents.

On the evening of October 14, the man set fire to the doors of one of the 'Ukrposhta' branches, carrying out a 'task' given to him by someone who posed as a member of the Ukrainian security services.

According to information from 'Glavkom', the suspect communicated with a fraudster who convinced him of the necessity of the arson to 'expose' individuals allegedly hired by Russia.

'The security service employee' did not disclose the purpose of the arson but promised money for such actions.

Quickly apprehended the perpetrator

Thanks to the swift actions of law enforcement, the man was located and arrested. He has been informed of the suspicion under part 2 of article 194 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which is intentional damage to property by fire.

Let us remember, the accused has the right to the presumption of innocence until the court verdict proves his guilt.

At the Lviv branch of 'Ukrposhta', the doors were set on fire, and a suspect has been arrested. The man has been informed of suspicion, and he is charged with intentionally damaging property by fire.
