Russians attacked Poltava with missiles and drones: what is known about the consequences
According to glavcom.ua: On the night of October 3rd, a powerful attack occurred in Poltava and the surrounding area. According to monitoring channels, the city was subjected to a combined attack by the enemy.
As reported by the Air Forces, several cruise missiles were detected heading towards Poltava. Monitors also reported dozens of enemy drones flying towards the city.
After these reports, local public channels heard loud explosions. Reports came in about the first hits and flashes of fire at several locations. It is worth noting that today marks the 1317th day of the war in Ukraine.
Russian occupiers carried out over a hundred airstrikes
According to data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the occupiers launched 47 airstrikes, dropped 115 guided aerial bombs, and used 1803 kamikaze drones. There were also 3247 shellings of the positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements.
Reports of a series of explosions and missile strikes that occurred in Poltava signal serious threats to the civilian population and the city's infrastructure. Russian occupiers continue active operations within the military conflict in eastern Ukraine, violating all possible norms of international humanitarian law.
