Атака Росії на вугільні шахти Дніпропетровщини: 2595 гірників залишилися під землею

Russia launched a new attack during which eight coal mines in Dnipropetrovsk were de-energized. At that moment, nearly 2600 miners were underground. Fortunately, thanks to the prompt actions of rescuers and mine personnel, all individuals were brought to the surface without casualties or injuries.

«Russia continues its energy terror. The latest strike threatened the lives of thousands of miners. Russia continues to wage war against civilians. The tactic of the Russians is clear – to leave Ukrainians without light and heat in winter,» stated Energy Minister Svitlana Hrynchuk.

This attack is not the first in recent days. Earlier, Russian forces attacked coal enterprises in Donetsk region, damaging them and forcing them to cease operations. There was also a case where Russian aviation struck a thermal power plant in Sloviansk, resulting in the deaths of two workers and injuries to five others.

Ukrainian miners and energy workers continue to fight against Russia's terrorist attacks, putting their own lives at risk to defend the country's energy independence.
