Ukrenergo also appealed to electricity consumers, stressing the importance of saving power between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM.
Strengthening Energy Infrastructure
These measures reflect Ukraine’s active efforts to reinforce its energy infrastructure after numerous attacks that caused damage during the war. The allocated funds and resilience plans could be crucial steps toward ensuring energy independence and stability amid ongoing uncertainty. In particular, the focus on protecting critical facilities may help prevent further power supply disruptions, especially during the winter season.
While Ukraine is making strides in strengthening its energy infrastructure, the impact of recent Russian strikes remains evident. The reconstruction efforts, necessitated by these attacks, are projected to cost around $90 billion, highlighting the urgent need for investment in the energy sector.
