Ukraine received 37,500 doses of hepatitis B vaccine: who will be vaccinated

Ukraine received 37,500 doses of hepatitis B vaccine worth over 25 million hryvnias. These vaccines were provided as humanitarian aid by the humanitarian organization Project HOPE Polska. They have already been distributed among the regional Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Center in Kyiv to be used for free vaccination of adults.

Hepatitis B is a serious disease that can damage the liver. However, it can be prevented through vaccination. Vaccination effectively protects against infection and chronic complications in 96% of cases, providing immunity for at least 20 years, and sometimes for life.

Vaccines against hepatitis B have been provided to Ukraine as humanitarian aid from the organization Project HOPE Polska. This vaccination will help protect adults from dangerous diseases and prevent serious complications.
