Ukraine has developed a Roadmap for Aviation according to NATO standards: what will change
Ukraine has developed a Roadmap for the development of aviation capabilities according to NATO standards. This was announced by Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal.
According to the minister, the roadmap is based on NATO's Air Power Doctrine – a strategic document regarding the principles and methods of employing the Alliance's Air Force for security and deterring aggression.
'This doctrine is key to NATO's defense strategy and is the basis for the training of new members of the Alliance and partners,' emphasized Shmyhal.
The goal of the Roadmap is to enhance Ukraine's capabilities:
to employ air power during combined operations and operations within NATO's framework; to inflict effective defeat on the enemy during the ongoing aggression; to prevent the enemy's advances and hold them back in the future.
The roadmap is structured according to the key functions defined in NATO’s Doctrine.
'Thanks to this document, the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will gain the ability to deter enemy aggression through the capacity to employ air power according to NATO standards,' emphasized the Defense Minister.
It was reported that Ukraine has developed a Roadmap for the development of aviation capabilities according to NATO standards with the aim of enhancing the country's military capabilities, which involves effective use of air forces and deterring potential aggression.
