Ukrainians in Poland have been reminded about the mandatory requirement when submitting documents for a residence permit. If you submit your application online through the MOS system, you need to add proof of payment of fees, otherwise the application will not be considered. This is stated in an article by InPoland.

Residence Permit in Poland: What Documents Are Required

The Office for foreign affairs explained: when applying for a temporary, permanent residence, or long-term EU resident status, proof of payment of fees must be attached to the application.

This includes:

  • stamp duty – from 340 to 640 zlotys depending on the type of permit
  • payment for the residence card – 100 zlotys.

Important: these payments must be made separately, to different accounts.

Submission via MOS: How to Properly Confirm Payment

Proof of payment can come in various formats:

  • electronic transfer confirmation
  • receipt scan
  • clear photo of the document.

At the same time, the office recommends adding the electronic confirmation specifically. This allows for avoiding the additional submission of paper copies to the voivodeship office.

MOS System and Payment: Important Limitation

The administration emphasizes: it is impossible to pay the fees directly through the MOS system.

Payment details need to be found on the website of the appropriate voivodeship office, depending on where you submit your documents.

This requirement is critical: without proof of payment, the application is considered incomplete and may be rejected.

In fact, the new reminder means that Ukrainians should carefully check the document package before submission to avoid delays in processing the application.

We recall that new rules for the legalization of residence and work for foreigners, including Ukrainians, have been introduced in Poland.
