New winter assistance in Ukraine: who will receive payments of up to 6500 hryvnias in December
According to hvylya.net: Ukraine is preparing to launch a new winter support program for the population, which provides for one-time payments ranging from 1000 to 6500 hryvnias. The largest amount will be received by the categories of the population that are most in need of assistance, such as families with children, foster families, family-type children's homes, low-income households with children, internally displaced persons with first-group disabilities, and elderly pensioners.
It is noted that these payments are aimed at covering the basic winter needs of the population, including food, medicines, warm clothing, and utilities. In addition, a mechanism for payments of 1000 hryvnias will be implemented for everyone who applies during December, allowing these funds to be spent on a wide range of goods and services - from medicines to transportation costs.
In November, funding began for a support program for residents of frontline areas, which provides for compensation for electricity consumption and support for the purchase of solid fuel. These measures are aimed at reducing the risk of humanitarian difficulties during the winter period and meeting the basic needs of people experiencing war and economic instability.
The mentioned assistance programs confirm the government's readiness to help citizens in difficult times, providing for their basic needs during the winter period.
