New Gas Bills Set to Arrive for Ukrainians Starting in October

According to ХВИЛЯ: Starting October 1, Ukrainian households will begin receiving redesigned bills for gas distribution. The new format, approved by the National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission (NEURC) under Resolution No. 541, mandates a standardized layout and a clear set of required information on each invoice. A key change is the option to receive a single consolidated bill instead of multiple separate ones, which is intended to make the payment process easier.

The updated invoices will combine charges for both gas distribution and supply on one page. Customers can choose whether to receive their bills in paper or electronic form. Each invoice will also include a uniform list of data required by the Law of Ukraine 'On the Natural Gas Market.' Consumers will need to submit their meter readings by the fifth day of each month and pay their bills no later than the 25th. It is worth noting that annual gas tariffs for households remain in the range of 7.96 to 9.99 Ukrainian hryvnias per cubic meter, while monthly plans can sometimes reach as high as 27.99 hryvnias per cubic meter.
