There is a significant decline in vegetable prices in the Ukrainian market, which occurred in the first half of July 2025. Experts explain this situation by the seasonal increase in the supply of early vegetables from the new harvest.

- New harvest onions - down 37% to 14-25 UAH/kg
- Carrots - from 50-55 to 40-50 UAH/kg

The trend of declining vegetable prices is expected to continue in the second decade of July, particularly for cucumbers, tomatoes, new potatoes, and onions. However, fruit prices may remain stable due to poor yields of stone fruits this season.
The decrease in vegetable prices fits within the framework of summer trends, although this year it started somewhat later due to unfavorable weather conditions in spring. It is worth noting that the most significant price increases occurred in June.
The drop in vegetable prices in the Ukrainian market in the first half of July 2025 is explained by the increase in supply from the new harvest. This is good news for consumers, as prices for popular vegetables have significantly decreased, which may positively affect the wallets of Ukrainians.
