According to glavcom.ua: The Ukrainian men's biathlon team amazed everyone at the World Championship 2011, receiving silver medals for the relay. The team initially received bronze, but due to the disqualification of the Russian team for doping, the Ukrainians found themselves in second place. Serhiy Semenov commented on the event, emphasizing the importance of restoring justice in sports and thanked the International Biathlon Union for their principled position.
This is a great victory for Ukrainian sports, which once again proved that justice always prevails. Such results inspire new achievements and support the spirit of Ukrainian athletes.
