Operations of the 41st Unmanned Systems Regiment 'Pilum'

According to Главком: On June 12, 2026, the 41st Unmanned Systems Regiment 'Pilum' of the 1st Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine 'Azov' announced via Telegram that its operators have established fire control over occupiers' logistics routes in and around Donetsk. Drone crews conduct around-the-clock aerial reconnaissance of occupied territories, striking fuel tankers, ammunition trucks, and armored vehicles. This marks a significant escalation in targeting enemy supply chains.

The regiment's operations include reconnaissance flights over temporarily occupied Donetsk. A key focus of their released video was the Donbas Arena stadium, which has been under occupation for over a decade. The stadium, famous for hosting Euro 2012 and Champions League matches, has become a symbol of the region's prolonged conflict.

Fire Control Over Key Facilities

Additionally, a unit from the 1st Separate Center of Unmanned Systems Forces (14th Regiment) has taken the Donetsk Airport under fire control. The 14th Regiment systematically destroys enemy equipment, Shahed drone launchers, and logistics infrastructure, significantly weakening occupier positions. Military officials emphasize that each destroyed vehicle brings the full liberation of Ukrainian lands closer.

“We are returning to Donetsk. This time, to destroy enemy logistics-the 41st Unmanned Systems Regiment 'Pilum',” the military stated.

By blocking supplies-through drone strikes on fuel tankers, ammunition trucks, and armored vehicles-Ukrainian forces prevent Russian command from delivering reserves and ammunition directly to the front line. These actions are a critical element in the fight to liberate occupied territories.

The Ukrainian military's operations in Donetsk highlight an intensification of combat efforts aimed at crippling the enemy's logistical capabilities. Establishing fire control over key infrastructure targets could severely impact Russian forces' ability to hold their positions, a crucial factor in the broader strategy to reclaim occupied land. These missions underscore the importance of drone technology in modern warfare and its role in achieving combat objectives.

As the 41st Unmanned Systems Regiment 'Pilum' intensifies its operations in Donetsk, the strategic impact of these drone strikes becomes increasingly evident. For instance, a recent attack on a Russian engineering unit further illustrates the effectiveness of Ukrainian drone forces in disrupting enemy capabilities.
