Ukrainian women in Adelaide defeated their rivals and advanced to the 1/16 finals of the World Championship
According to glavcom.ua: The matches of the second qualifying stage of the World Beach Volleyball Championship have concluded in Adelaide. The representatives of Ukraine demonstrated impressive results. The duo of Valentyn Davidov and Angelyna Khmil confidently defeated their opponents from Egypt with a score of 21:5, 21:6, while Tetiana Lazarenko and Daria Romaniuk secured a hard-fought victory against the Peruvians with a score of 21:19, 21:18, advancing to the 1/16 finals. Tonight, the Ukrainian duos will compete against Brazilian athletes, determining their fate in the tournament.
Additionally, this year Ukrainian athletes earned gold at the European Beach Volleyball Championship and silver at an international tournament in Italy. Ukrainian volleyball continues to conquer the peaks of world sports, showing impressive results and excellent performances at international arenas.
