Ukrainian dancers won silver at the world championship in Romania
According to glavcom.ua: Our Ukrainian duo - Earl Williamson and Veronika Myshko - impressed the jury of the World Dance Championship in Romania and rightfully took second place in the ten dance program. Their performance dazzled the esteemed audience and was rated as high and talented.
The winners of the tournament were a duo from Romania, and the bronze medals were won by the team from Israel.
Earl and Veronika have once again showcased their talent on the international stage. They recently became the world champions in 2023 in Portugal and delivered a successful performance at the European Youth Olympic Festival, winning 5 gold, 8 silver, and 10 bronze medals.
Successes in various sports
The most impressive results were achieved in judo, where Ukrainian athletes won six medals. With great pride, victories were also secured in swimming, athletics, taekwondo, shooting, rhythmic gymnastics, and table tennis. These successes testify to the impressive range of performances by Ukrainian athletes on the international stage.
The World Summer Universiade, held in Germany, also did not go without the participation of the Ukrainian national team, which left a deep mark. Overall, our athletes received 12 medals, including 4 gold, 3 silver, and 5 bronze, and took 14th place in the overall standings. Ukrainian athletes continue to raise the bar on the international stage and make us proud of their achievements.
