Diia.Education wins global gold: how a Ukrainian platform is changing careers
According to Федоров: Ukrainian educational technologies continue to gain recognition worldwide. The national platform Diia.Education, in collaboration with the Eastern Europe Foundation, received the gold award at the QS Reimagine Education Awards 2025 in the Lifelong Learning category.
This year, over 1600 applications from various countries were submitted to the competition. After four stages of evaluation, the jury recognized Diia.Education as one of the most effective projects that helps bridge the gap between the skills needed in the labor market and an individual's abilities.
Since 2020, the platform has been helping Ukrainians acquire digital skills. The full-scale war changed the needs - millions of people are forced to change their profession, place of residence, and work format. Therefore, in 2023, we relaunched Diia.Education with the support of Google.org and the Eastern Europe Foundation, adding tools for career building and retraining.
The project's main achievements include:
- Issuance of over 5 million certificates;
- Over 30 learning paths: from cyber hygiene to IT specialists;
- Over 5000 offline hubs providing access to offline learning.
We combine learning with the opportunity to find work. Through integration with leading job search services, users can immediately apply their acquired skills - the system brings up thousands of relevant job vacancies.
More about the possibilities of the Diia.Education platform can be found on their website. Partners of the project include the Swiss-Ukrainian EGAP Program and other organizations that promote the development of education in Ukraine.
