The government launches the Unified Register of Qualifications: what will change for employees

According to hvylya.net: The government of Ukraine has decided to create a Unified Register of Qualifications - a new electronic platform that collects information about qualifications, professional standards, and other important aspects. This was announced by the press service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

In May 2025, the Law on 'Improving the National Qualification System' came into force, which provides for the consolidation of existing classifiers and directories to create a new register. This will accelerate the development of the qualification system, contribute to the development of professional standards, and improve information about qualifications in the labor market, noted the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

Giving the National Qualifications Agency the authority to create and maintain the Unified Register will contribute to more effective performance of tasks in the field of qualifications, in line with labor market needs.

The launch of the new Unified Register of Qualifications is planned for May 2026, which will undoubtedly improve coordination and information interaction in the field of qualifications in Ukraine.
