The government has approved a plan for public procurement control: what will change by 2027
According to Мінфін: The government of Ukraine has supported the initiative to strengthen control over public funds in collaboration with the State Audit Office. The approved Roadmap for control for the period from 2025 to 2027 is aimed at simplifying the procurement system, making it more transparent and efficient in accordance with European standards.
“This is an important step towards Ukraine's European integration. We are implementing European standards of public finance management so that every penny is spent effectively and transparently. These principles are enshrined in the new Roadmap,” noted Deputy Minister of Finance Alex Kava.
The action plan includes the harmonization of legislation with the European Union, the implementation of digital control tools, the enhancement of auditors' qualifications, and the exchange of experiences with European partners. Ukraine is actively approaching such EU values as transparency, competition, and accountability of customers through the introduction of digital tools and automated control in the procurement process.
Extremely important work with public funds will ensure effective use of resources and increase public trust in the management of state finances in Ukraine.
