Winter Support: 14 million Ukrainians have already applied for 1000 hryvnias

More than 14 million Ukrainians have already applied to receive 1000 hryvnias as part of the Winter Support program. The majority of applications were submitted through Diia, as well as independently via Ukrposhta. For people on the social list, funds will be automatically credited. The application deadline is December 24.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko noted that the second wave of Winter Support payments will begin today for those who applied on the second day of accepting applications. It was reported that funds have already been paid to 3.5 million people, who collectively spent more than 473 million hryvnias. The main expenses are for utilities, purchasing books, medications, and charity. Individuals who applied through Ukrposhta will receive funds starting December 6.
