Medical institutions operating on the front lines, in remote areas, and active combat zones have received additional funding of over 280 million UAH from August to November this year.

Increased Coefficients for Medical Institutions in Frontline Territories

Starting from October this year, officials providing primary medical care in frontline territories have been assigned an increased coefficient of 1.2 to the basic capitation rate. In October, the total amount of additional payments under this program amounted to 5.8 million UAH.

Currently, the reduction coefficients for medical institutions in frontline territories have been canceled, resulting in an increase in payments of 21 million UAH per month.

The Largest Amounts of Additional Payments Were Received by:

  • Kherson region — 2.2 million UAH per month
  • Dnipropetrovsk — 1.6 million UAH
  • Donetsk — 1.1 million UAH

Funding in the Kharkiv region, Zaporizhzhia region, and Odesa has significantly increased due to the cancellation of adjustment coefficients.

Additional Funding for Emergency Medical Teams

Emergency medical teams in Sumy and Chernihiv regions are now receiving additional financial support. Coefficients have been increased, and the total amount of funding for these teams has also grown.

Support for Medical Institutions in Low-Population Density Communities

Primary medical care facilities in low-population density communities are now receiving 20% more funding for each declaration with a patient starting from September.

The package 'Ensuring the preservation of human resources for providing medical care' includes additional funding for medical institutions in combat zones.

Since the start of the amendments to the regulations for providers operating in frontline territories, contracts worth a total of 515 million UAH have already been signed under the package 'Ensuring the preservation of human resources for providing medical care.'

Thanks to additional funding for medical institutions in frontline territories and hard-to-reach areas, the quality of medical care and working conditions for medical personnel are being improved.
