Night vandalism in Odesa: the shattered glass dome of the open-air museum on Primorsky Boulevard. On the eve of November 18, unknown individuals damaged the pyramid-museum where archaeological artifacts of the city are kept. This is already the second such attack this year, noted the head of the Odesa City Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak.

“When the whole world is focused on combating external threats, we face internal ones. Tonight, as the country endured an attack, a unique museum was damaged on Primorsky Boulevard in Odesa. This is a significant loss for everyone who strives to preserve our history,” emphasized Lysak.

The authorities have already contacted the police to investigate this act of vandalism. The museum, opened in 2008, was an important part of the cultural life of the city, and the remains of the ancient Greek colony under the dome were available for viewing by tourists and local residents.

In light of these events, the head of the OVA, Oleg Kiper, again emphasized the importance of adhering to legislation regarding the state language and culture for all institutions of food and entertainment in the region.
