Electricity restrictions across Ukraine on October 20: what is happening

Tomorrow, October 20, power restriction schedules will be introduced for industrial consumers in all regions of Ukraine from 06:00 to 22:00. As reported by the company 'Ukrenergo', this necessary measure is related to the consequences of Russian strikes on the energy infrastructure. Hourly outages for household consumers are already being implemented in the Chernihiv region.

'The situation in the energy system may change. Follow the messages on the pages of your regional energy company,' - urges 'Ukrenergo'.

In addition, the company called on citizens to save electricity to avoid additional problems in the operation of the energy system. The Ministry of Energy, in turn, explained the reasons for the introduction of electricity supply restrictions and clarified the differences between various types of outages and factors that may lead to disruptions in schedules.

Let's remind that the Government has made several important decisions to protect and restore critical infrastructure.
