Prices for the 'borscht set' fell in Ukraine: what has become more affordable

Prices for the borscht set in Ukraine
В Україні знизились витрати на приготування борщу: що тепер коштує менше?

Last week, vegetable prices fell again in Ukraine. Everything became cheaper - tomatoes, peppers, zucchini, and even garlic. Consumers found it easier to buy their favorite vegetables.

'Prices for vegetables and greens in Ukraine have predominantly decreased. All items in the 'borscht set' from the new harvest have become cheaper,' reported analysts from the EastFruit project. The trend of falling prices also concerns other favorite vegetables.

Currently, red tomatoes can be purchased for 30-60 hryvnias per kilogram, peppers for 85-100 hryvnias, and zucchinis for 15-18 hryvnias per kilogram. Experts also note the price drop in broccoli, Chinese cabbage, and cauliflower.

The price decline is attributed to the arrival of fresh vegetable harvests on the market, which leads to price stabilization for products on Ukrainian shelves.

The decrease in vegetable prices in Ukraine is caused by the influx of the new vegetable harvest into the market, resulting in lower costs for all well-known vegetables such as tomatoes, peppers, zucchini, and others. This phenomenon makes products more accessible to consumers, contributing to the stabilization of the price situation in the vegetable market in Ukraine.
