The Ministry of Defense has shortened the terms for awarding servicemen: how the system will now operate
According to hvylya.net: The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine denies the procedure for awarding servicemen with state awards for combat merits. Now this process will take much less time - from 8 to 16 days, which is a significant improvement compared to the previous 3-8 months. The new procedure provides for the quick processing of documents and their submission for consideration to higher authorities without delays.
Now the military unit will send the award materials to the military administration body to which it is subordinate, from there the documents will be sent directly for consideration to the leadership of the Armed Forces. In both instances, the documents will be reviewed within two days, after which they will be forwarded to the Office of the President. In total, passing all stages of the procedure will take from 8 to 16 days.
In addition, the possibility of including the certificate of state award in Diia is being considered, so that servicemen can receive the recognition they deserve faster and more efficiently. All these initiatives are aimed at improving and simplifying the procedures for recognizing servicemen for their significant merits.
