The government allocated millions for thermal generation: which cities will receive assistance

The government is actively preparing for the heating season, taking several important measures. Having received grants of $116 million from international banks, funds were allocated for restoring heat supply in cities affected by shelling and for purchasing reserve block modular boilers for the cities of Sumy and Shostka. Work is also underway to develop distributed generation and ensure the resilience of the energy system to possible attacks.

The government has updated competitions for the construction of new generating capacities, simplifying procedures for attracting investors, and also correcting the rules for procuring necessary equipment for more efficient operation of the energy system. The main task is to ensure a reliable supply of electricity, heat, and water to the population of all regions of the country under any conditions.
