The Ukrainian parliament approved a bill to exempt military personnel and residents of frontline territories from administrative fees. This news was announced by the press service of the Verkhovna Rada on October 9, 2025.
The bill provides benefits for combatants, those released from captivity, relatives of fallen defenders, persons with disabilities, and volunteers who assisted in the conflict zone.
An easier way to obtain benefits
According to the bill, the mentioned groups of citizens will be exempt from administrative fees when resolving issues related to property registration, business opening, and the issuance of civil status documents.
Members of parliament stated: 'We will simplify the procedure for obtaining benefits as much as possible. Citizens will not need to spend time gathering additional documents or navigating complicated bureaucratic procedures.'
