According to glavcom.ua: Today, December 24, at night in the Orekhovo-Borisovo area in southern Moscow, an attack occurred on the employees of the road patrol service. Unknown individuals threw a homemade explosive device into the window of a service vehicle of the 'Skoda' type. As a result, two people were killed, and two others were seriously injured.

The explosion occurred at 01:30 Moscow time on Yeletskaya Street. People nearby heard a loud explosion that reverberated for several blocks.

Details of the incident

During the attack, two inspectors of the road patrol service were fatally injured due to shrapnel wounds. Two other victims were hospitalized with serious injuries.

Currently, law enforcement agencies are examining surveillance camera recordings and searching for the attackers. The investigative committee has opened a criminal case in connection with this incident.

Earlier in this area of Moscow, there was also a car explosion on Yasenevaya Street, where a Russian lieutenant general was killed. At that time, two police officers were injured.
