EIB allocated 100 million euros for the recovery of Ukraine: what projects are being implemented in the Dnipropetrovsk region

Meeting of the Expert Working Group on Project Preparation

Under the leadership of Deputy Minister Oleksii Riabikin, a meeting of the Expert Working Group on the initiation, preparation, support, and implementation of joint projects with the European Investment Bank took place.

After reviewing community proposals, 6 projects were recommended in the Dnipropetrovsk region, including major repairs to healthcare facilities and the construction of protective structures.

“The selection of projects is not just a technical process. We carefully evaluate each submitted request to ensure funds work effectively where they bring the greatest results for the communities. We must support decisions that restore not only infrastructure but also people’s trust in the future. This is our task. That's why each tranche is an investment not only in facilities but also in the resilience and development of Ukrainian communities.”

As a result of previous meetings, the Expert Group has already selected 18 projects for funding under the “Recovery of Ukraine III” program (tranche B), with a total contract amount of 100 million euros.

Under the leadership of the Deputy Minister, the Expert Working Group met to prepare projects. The group recommended 6 new projects in the Dnipropetrovsk region, including repairs of healthcare facilities and the construction of protective structures. In total, 18 projects have already been selected for funding under the “Recovery of Ukraine III” program, for which 100 million euros have been allocated.
