The Ministry of Energy adds that the transfer of such equipment helps Ukrainian energy workers to more quickly restore the operation of networks and maintain stable electricity supply for consumers.
This is already the sixth aid package that Litgrid is transferring to Ukraine. Earlier, the company provided autotransformers and other key components of the transmission system, such as switches, disconnectors, current and voltage transformers, surge protectors, insulators, relay protection and automation devices, as well as various other equipment and materials for the transmission system needed to strengthen the energy infrastructure.
Measures to limit electricity due to attacks on energy facilities
